Stacked Drawings

Below are two sets of drawings from the recent Ohio trip. They both are head-to-head and overlapping comparisons of each student’s assigned drawings. The first is the Toledo Art Museum Glass Pavilion by SANAA, followed by the Knowlton School of Architecture Building at Ohio State by Scogin-Elam. Each student was asked to draw a plan of the building while on site, with no reference to published scaled drawings. They were scanned and aligned at the same point (the red square) and combined into one drawing.
