At a glance, the Glass Pavilion might seem to be a straightforward building that is all about transparency, but actually it is much more complex and more about reflectivity. Inside, sometimes it was difficult to tell where things were because of their reflections. While we found the spaces between the rooms interesting before, after visiting it we knew that they regulated the temperature of the building and skillfully disguised the support system for the building.

The building did have some disappointing moments. The displays for the art did not measure up to the architecture. We found the method of displaying a certain piece of art that resembled a contact lens very successful. It involved the space while keeping things clean and subtle, and we wished that more of the art was as thoughtfully displayed.
