Contemporary Arts Center

After having visited the Contemporary Arts Center in Ohio, we were able to draw certain comparisons between our observations and expectations of the building. The building was situated in a vibrant urban site as we had expected through examination of the cubic exterior which gave it a dynamic feel. The play on material and color and the way in which they were integrated with one another on the exterior was reflected inside where the stairs stood out amongst the rest of the structural elements. The exterior seemed to be more rigorous and segmented while the interior turned out to be more integrated with flowing spaces.
