From looking at plans, sections and photos, we had high expectations for this building. We assumed that the extruded forms on the exterior directly related to spaces on the interior. We also were excited to see how the unique circulation connected the various spaces. When there, we found the stair and the curving wall to be the most spatially exciting elements of the building. We thought that the way different elements such as the large rectangular forms and the curving wall pierced the facade, while unusual and visually exciting were in some way modest and did not prevent the building from blending into the city scape.
